You're missing the point. Yes, you could go from 1-12/13 in FFXI fairly quickly, but not in 10 minutes. He went from 1-11, duoing, a levequest...in 10 minutes...That should never happen. Again, you make all of these assumptions about the game and almost all of them are wrong. Go play the game for a good bit THEN come back and try to talk.did he do it solo? and on one mob?
in ffxi even before all the exp ring it didn't take much to get from 1-11. I even had hunt grounds i love going to. I could solo as a rdm or whm to 13 in ffxi just in the ruin tower in windurst near giddus. Also they did recently make the curce from 1-20 a bit quicker. so its not like you know. And fyi i play tons of game leveling is just about the same in all of them. you go on quests/ kill mobs to level up. so really how is ffxiv any different? how is ffxiv different from ffxi?
Healer strike is ridiculously foolish and accomplishes nothing
Exactly. If they have even once used that site for ANYTHING, they're a hypocrite. Plain and simple. If not, turn off the indicator, no harm no foul. Still blows my mind people bitch over the option to play how you like. Everyone has to play this MY way or i'm not happy, is pretty much what it boils down to. No wait aggro indicators make you noob, be a pro, walk around aimlessly and get one-shotted because you simply had no idea it'd aggro, that obviously makes you a better player >.>
Btw belgian, I do hope you're playing with /names turned off if you're playing that immersion card that hard. I mean the names cover up more of the landscape then even the gigantic red circle currently on mobs, and completely ruin your adventure as well.Aggro icons ruin the landscape. Please try not to make the game feel as if we are fighting monsters, not numbers and icons.
lol Hypocrisy is a funny thing. "BAD SE I don't want the information to be readily available! I would rather go check wiki or YG you losers!" /end rantExactly. Someone stated it's the casuals that don't want to compromise but there is a minority of radicals on both sides. Toggle the icon off, toggle names, and disable damage display if you want immersion. I mean seriously when have you hit something and seen numbers pop up in yellow? Whatever game you radicals want won't happen in this evolution of MMOs(unless you go make one yourself). Compromises must be met to be successful or suffer like XI started to after WoW.
It is really funny because these are the same people that will go to wiki(or yg) for strategies and info lol.
Word of the day: Hypocrisy
People is trollin SE hard lol. Accept life's changes or be left behind.
edit: Fixed mistake Except to Accept so Dubont would feel like a special snowflake.

The information is useful. But it takes away from elements of the game like landscape and adventure. This useful information should be displayed only when a monster is selected.
"Accept" should have been the word of the day, seeing as how you do not know the difference between it and "except."lol Hypocrisy is a funny thing. "BAD SE I don't want the information to be readily available! I would rather go check wiki or YG you losers!" /end rant

it told you what mobs aggro'ed, how they aggro'ed and elemental weakness. kinda the point i was making.
off quote
ok here is the thing, he was duoing. NOT soloing. when you get groups leveling is easyer. cuz you kill faster. If he took 10 min to get level 10 from 1 solo. then ya thats kinda iffy but honestly. you can get max level 30 in dcuo in 3 days. so far no one is complaining about it in that game. And that is solo mind you. I complained about it and was told off. Yet here is different. If you guys want a truely "hard" game play solo 100% of the time killing mobs that are not easy pray, turn off names and effects since you want a realistic game. Only walk around never run. Never teleport using.
There you go there is a difficault game oh. And don't do levequests at all. Only kill monsters.
