in ffxi even before all the exp ring it didn't take much to get from 1-11. I even had hunt grounds i love going to. I could solo as a rdm or whm to 13 in ffxi just in the ruin tower in windurst near giddus. Also they did recently make the curce from 1-20 a bit quicker. so its not like you know. And fyi i play tons of game leveling is just about the same in all of them. you go on quests/ kill mobs to level up. so really how is ffxiv any different? how is ffxiv different from ffxi?

You're missing the point. Yes, you could go from 1-12/13 in FFXI fairly quickly, but not in 10 minutes. He went from 1-11, duoing, a levequest...in 10 minutes...That should never happen. Again, you make all of these assumptions about the game and almost all of them are wrong. Go play the game for a good bit THEN come back and try to talk.
