A toggle was never going to appease our side, since it's a statement about the game and it's demographic is the most important aspect. It says you all can't handle a dangerous world without help, and that's who the devs focus on.

Your side is not worth listening to.

You ever used these to look at enemy levels? Hypocrite.
You haven't? Anyone who's wanted to see enemy levels has, and you can keep on "not looking" by toggling off the feature.
How is this different?
Where have your hard games been? Did you feel harcore for using a browser?
Can't wait until you find out they're showing whether a mob links or not too.

I don't understand why people are going nuts about displaying levels though. It saves everyone the time of having to go to Yellow Gremlin or any other community site...
Wait a sec... What if everyone against it are the operators of said community sites and are upset that they'll be losing even MORE traffic in addition to that already lost through the opening of the official forums!?
CONSPIRACY!!!
Its nothing of the sort, I like my games to be hard in terms of monster balancing not a cheap one shot from an aggressive monster hiding in the grass.
These icons are for people who want the information, it doesn't make the world any less difficult, no more than you avoid a dog if it bears its teeth and growls at you.
