    Nuhn must have amazing memory...

I admit, this is something quite light hearted, but I couldn't help but feeling kinda sorry for the nuhn...
My husband has a hard time remembering our wedding anniversary, and he'll remember my birthday like... on the day.

How does a nuhn cope with remembering 50? XD

I'm guessing that somewhere he has a calendar stashed that has each of his females' birthday & anniversary written down on it lol.

Lol Well I somehow don't think it's all that important as he's mostly used for breeding. He's more likely having severe issues coping with the feeling that he's just a piece of meat to the ladies.

    EDIT: no pun .___.

I think the sun seeker social live is more patriarchy.
So, not the ladies but he determines the time to breed. He show his muscles and the ladies kissing his feet. And the daughters get the fathers first name as surename.

His best bet would to be always have a bunch of Bubble Chocolates on hand, and a bunch of pre-made cards with the words:

    Dear ____________________,
    Always remember, you're my favorite.

    Love,
    Your nuhn.

And he just fills in the blank when they ask for their birthday gift/anniversary gift.

Sorry for the delay in my reply, some really awesome (and some comical) points brought up XD Thanks so much for the giggles!

    Totally loving the idea of Personalized bubble chocolates, as for nuhn slaves... there's a lot worse ways to spend one's time, maybe they're secretly into that kind of thing haha though the Lobotomy thing scared me a bit, I can just picture a vegetable nuhn in the back of a cave, drooling lol ;;

Looking forward to hearing more ideas from you guys!

I can't help but wonder about the social dynamic in Seeker tribes. Granted, it likely varies tribe to tribe, but is there an overall comfortable relationship and mutual respect between the sexes, or could there be cases proving otherwise...

Would tribal morale plummet if a particularly misogynistic nunh came into rank, or would his behavior be simply accepted in exchange for his top-notch genetics?

Interesting point. How loyal are the females to their nunh? If one came into rank that was like that, would they be willing to assist an opponent into defeating him?

I'm guessing if the nuhn showed an overall disrespect for the females of his clan, he wouldn't be nuhn for long. Afterall:

Since being a Nuhn doesn't necessarily equate to being a leader, but a Sun Seeker tribe is more or less patriarchal, does that mean a Tia runs the show? Or maybe it's more of a decentralized "we all pitch in for the good of the tribe" situation.

I took it to mean that the power side of things is still a bit matriarchal even if offspring and naming conventions is patriarchal. It would seem silly to have the most powerful male (the nunh) *not* be the leader if males still held the power. Otherwise why wouldn't the leading tia be a nunh in his own right?? (Since there can be more than one nunh in a tribe, it seems)
