So how much of the Roeg dictionary is actually reminiscent of the German language?
I've noticed a few words and I'm curious, since I don't actually know German
Bhrat -- Meat
Wyrst -- Sausage
Nahct -- Night

Germanic to be specific. Some of it corresponds to modern German, but most of it is older forms of the language.

They have Icelandic naming conventions.
I think a lot of the names of Roe npc, seem to be based on old Saxon names.
From what I Glean from the Rogaedyn dictionary that a lot of the words sound kinda Germanic/Scottish/Nordic with a mix of Potteries' slang in there too. (Unless you're from around Stoke-on-Trent in England, you're probably not going to get what that is, sorry ;; lol)

I know Stahl is steel in German, so there are definitely some Germanic influences in the culture's language.
