I was going by the fact that there are bunch of examples listed of Seeker women who have last names starting with a different tribe letter.

Like how the post lists K'tyaka Nunh, and later lists J'nanhgo Tyaka? I suppose it's possible for a Miqo'te to join a different tribe in some circumstances. That being said, Maimhov as your full surname is only your father's given name without the tribal prefix. He could easily be A'maimhov Nunh.
