I had no idea there were this many of you following the lore discussions! Welcome to our underground lair, muahahah. I wonder how hard it's going to be to keep clean in here given that a lot of our issues start as singular questions... Maybe I can just cram my current debacle into a big "1.X Lominsan Story Arc" thread... ><

That said, maybe we'll slowly start dragging some of the other lore-loving devs out, too. The Developer Blog in particular has drawn out the hysterical sides of a few team members as of late.

SOKEN cracks me up every time I see him - did you guys see the LIVE video where he came on-screen before the show started in torn up clothes and bloody battle gear saying that he tried to stop Dalamud for everyone but it was a lot bigger than he anticipated? LOL.

I had no idea there were this many of you following the lore discussions!

I haven't been able to keep up with a lot of them since they tend to get overwhelmed by all of the garbage that makes it into the Hot Topics list. (Excluding Niqote's thread, of course :3)

To be honest I find it distressing how few of my friends actually care about in-game lore. For a story-driven MMO, this game has a fairly apathetic community. Maybe I can find new friends with this forum!

Yeah I've been lurking it regularly but don't often post. Usually because you guys end up going waaay deeper than my mind can think about without going asplodey. That and with pretty much everything in "CG Midlander" it's hard to sort and find the particular topic I want to know about, especially when 80% of the thread is no longer about the Derplander... hopefully now that we have our Lore forums it can all be sorted out much more nicely into individual threads!

As much as I am a lurker, I do care though, with my intense interest of the Eorzean language. I also loved the history lessons from Professor Erik and the Miner's Guild quests. I sometimes wonder how many people actually got the "Times New Sil'dihn" joke in one of my font release threads >.> (and who here is pumped to explore the Sil'dih excavation site shown in the recent trailers?????)

I'm the same. I've been following the CG Midlander thread, but haven't said much since the focus has mostly been on Ul'dah and Lominsa. I've only played through Gridania, so I didn't have much I could say.
