Still nothing.. Awesome.
And no, I'm not reading, watching, pausing, finding the pics that are mentioned in the text all at once.
SE, you already -have- the translation. Just put it in as sub. Seriously. You're no indie developer.
But then again... *thinks of the Sony press conference*
This just should reinforce our understanding that they don't care about the English community much. What would you think if they never translated it? Would you still think they love us then?
I am usually a patient person but seriously? We paid good money to play this game and are willing to fork out even more and you (devs, translation ppl) seriously need to recognize that a huge majority of your player base does not speak japanese and when you release NEW news and all of it is in japanese and it takes an eternity or never to release something with captions is disturbing. I understand stuff takes time and the beta is currently going on and translation is not easy but the live letter was released quite awhile ago and still nothing. Quite sad and rather insulting if you ask me.
I wouldnt blame the devs, its more SE problem, that they dont get more ppl for the translation section. Our devs are just overload with work >,< I mean this forum here its not their only job.
My post was not really toward the dev's, just everyone in general. Honestly though, they are the ones making the game. But there are people there that have jobs specifically just for the forums/translations and yet we are still left in the dark like always. Without reinhart we would all be screwed...
It takes awhile to professionally translate and sub a video that's almost 2hrs long. Lots of Stop>Rewind>Play...wait what did Yoshida say? Oh go back and play it again.
I don't know what method SE uses for the actual translation process for the videos, but from my experience, I tend to transcribe the conversations into the native language first..then translate that text and carry it over into subs. Then timing the subs to cue back with the audio...lot of work lol
Translating text is loads easier than doing a translation of audio xD
Well, what are you two waiting for?! Get to it!
The people whose jobs are specifically translations are busy translating the game now.My post was not really toward the dev's, just everyone in general. You're not left in the dark. The relevant questions and answers have been posted, so stop crying.
