Can my level 50 start in a new server?

Basically, I want to start in a server where the economy won't be dominated by all the level 50 crafters. So I want to start in a fresh brand new server. But I would like to keep my level 50 warrior, and perhaps I can also start as a level 1 for my other jobs.

Will this be possible? If not, what are the options?

Nope. All servers will be able to have new characters created on them(Assuming their not full). Certain servers only will allow the importing of 1.0 characters.

Nope and for that very reason. If you want to start fresh you need to start at level 1 on a new character. You won't be able to move to a 'fresh server' for a long time after release.

i remember hearing about world transfers when the server first comes up. i dont know if they were/plan on doing it but even if they did, i can see them locking out the new servers so lv50s dont go there and dominate the market.

I think I will be better off starting anew, since I want to experience the going from level 1 to 50 again to see all the new content.

Yea SE did say that existing players can only transfer to older worlds . some where in the transition to arr info to lazy to find it atm

No because if you think about it. Even a 50 warrior could have a huge advantage. Could be out there farming materials for low level crafters at a pace the new players could never compete with and essentially monoploise the markets by doing so.

Uh, isn't your reasoning kind of in conflict with your desire? You want to be level 50, but you don't want anyone else to be? that doesn't make any sense.

There will be servers that existing characters can transfer to- There will also be "Fresh start" servers that only allow new character creation. The latter means a clean slate economy, however, you can't keep your levels or anything- you have to make a new character.

Now that you said it, yes, it sounds ridiculous, but I don't want to lose my level 50 even if I start in a new server.

Perhaps they can lock away my lvl 50 warrior, until I hit a level 50 with another job, and then I can gain access to it.

That still give you an advantage
if you want to be in a world where people don't have lv 50's then start from scratch as well
