Well, Relm was a pictomancer, not necessarily a blue mage. I think Blue Mage can only be done so many ways that it makes sense (on defense, being hit then surviving/killing, eating etc) since it's a pretty different mage job.
Relm really wasn't a Blue Mage, Stargo was though. If I had to call Relm anything it'd have to be a Beastmaster, esp. after you get that one relic for her to control enemies.
Yes!
Blue Mage is awesome, I would like to see it almost as much as a Bard and Red Mage. But then again, that requires more strict class abilities and, of course, traditional names. I guess you can get by without the latter though, as long as the elements and lore-style are still there.
Then again, I believe I would enjoy any classical names being put into XIV. Was expecting them, since most of the world is so similar to XI -.-v
I don't care about the names, I care about the concept.Yes!

And as for what everyone else was talking about with Breakout, 1000 Needles, Sanguine Bite, Impish Incantations, etc. I forgot about those. Yeah there's already some good abilities monsters use... but there needs to be more. Blue Magic tends to be the most abundant skill list.
