In-game memorial for legacy members.

I know that they have plans to put legacy members names in the credits of 2.0, but what do you think about having some sort of in-game memorial in 2.0 that would show our names?

The names could be carved into a huge tree, or into a megalithic stone, or in some built-environment structure in our starting nation.

with either the monument so big or the print so small you can't read all the names, seriously you realize how big that thing would have to be? there is a lot more than say 1,000 names on a wall. Also think it is a waste of time and gives some epeen legacy players to rub in new players face. I vote no.

Edit: I am not saying its not a cool idea, just it would be so troublesome in my opinion. I think the credits are enough for the amount of people.

THey could make it a stone or statue with general carvings, and when you click on it, it scrolsl the names by in random orders.

That might be pretty cool, you could maybe search names or have them scroll randomly or something. I don't think something like that will be put in however, it just gives Legacy players more chances to gloat. (this coming from a legacy player)

Well if we can't have a monument because legacy members will gloat about it to new players then they need to get rid of other things that they'll gloat about as well. Namely goobbues, their gear, the levels they've gotten, all quest progress, etc. After all, we wouldn't want them to have something over someone else right?

it is kind of the same, I know what your getting at. Though having your characters name or your name immortalized in the game long after you might of moved on is vastly different than someone having all those levels and goobues. because that doesn't make you immortal in the the world of Eorzea. While having your name emblazoned on an item in the game will.

I know it's important to get the credit if you contribute...but I don't want to put my name to make ppl skip or suffering to find friend's name...
