Interesting thread!

"A" at the start since this was basically my first RPG ever (online or offline) and didn't know what to expect.

"B" is what it became. I am basically just being myself in Eorzea. And I have spent so much time in FFXIV v1.0 that I grew very attached to my character and see her as a part of myself now.

"C" for my in-game friends. There could be a cultural difference here. I play during Japan peak time and spend nearly all of my time with Japanese players. Most are very private and only speak about real life in vague terms.
At first I thought it might be nice to connect through social sites, but now I really don't want to know their real names, their jobs, or what they look like in the real world. I am quite satisfied to only know their online incarnations, sharing laughs and tears together in a wonderful digital fantasy world.
