- When you signed up for beta you were given clear instructions. You can read that here (http://entry.ffxiv.com/beta/detail_na.html)
_
- If you were selected to take part in the Beta test, you were given clear instructions via e-mail.
- If you HAVE Legacy status and DID NOT get the e-mail then follow the instructions Bayohne posted here (http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/60682-Did-not-get-in-beta-despite-having-Legacy?p=970093#post970093).
_- If you DO NOT have Legacy status, and did not receive and e-mail, you probably didn't get selected for the first batch. Beta selection e-mails are announced on twitter when it gets sent out. You can check that here (https://twitter.com/FF_XIV_EN).
_- If you did receive the e-mail and still asking how, then you need to learn to read. Read the e-mail at least 20 times. Read it out loud and clear so it gets in your head. If that still doesn't work for you then contact customer support. Which can be found here (http://support.na.square-enix.com/main.php?id=902&la=1).
If you followed Bayohne's instruction above (In #2>#2) and you didn't receive any instruction aside from the code in the e-mail, I apologize in advance, but I strongly believe they also gave out instructions on what to do next.
If you only received the code without any instructions from the customer support, then please contact them again and clearly state your situation and request for instructions. If you have previous support ticket number in which you received the code, make sure to reference that so they know where to look to confirm your beta status.
Please note:
No one can give you any other advice or information in regards to beta test, as if they do, that could potentialy risk themselves in breaking the NDA and getting their accounts suspended.
For more information on that, please refer to the Beta testers agreement that can be found here (https://secure.square-enix.com/enqt/jsp/run/FF14RBETAENTRYN/HTML/agreement.jsp).
I'm sorry if I sound harsh, but instructions were clearly given out. You have the responsibility to read and follow the instructions if you wish to participate.
