Not to be a pooper of parties but one or two massively writers are obsessed with the game. It's on their page all the time with some sort of philosophical fan musings every week. It's not a place for any sort of balanced judgment on the game by any means.

Actually Eliot Lefebvre has been very critical with the game in many occasions in the past (some times in extremely weird ways as well, but oh well).

I wouldn't say Massively has "come around" in that sense; Eliot Lefebvre is a long-time XIV player, even during the worst days of 1.0. I'm sure he's Legacy, too.

Regardless, more positive press about ARR is good no matter who's writing it.

Consider, Massively is a gaming site about MMO games. If Yoshi succeeds (something that can only be certain come release, regardless of press) it might mean implications for the MMORPG industry and development. MMORPG titles as large as FFXIV are currently massive undertakings, with failure meaning a sea of red ink few can explain and keep their job. If it can be shown that such investments could be saved...
