just a reminder

as we start beta today everyone that's been lazy like i have and not playing games at all may want to make sure you take the time to give it a good cleaning on the inside. with the game down i really let my system go downhill because all i did was to search the net and forum hop when i actually got online and cleaning didn't cross my mind.


i ran the little benchmark and it was the first thing i've done since the game went down in november and was shocked to see my card was sitting idle at 65c and pushing 90c while running the benchmark when it had always idled at @40c and been around 70c on full load. i opened my 580 up and omg after months of just running doing nothing it had major buildup and now i'm running the benchmark and staying around 61c or so which is cooler than it was sitting idle before.

i know the vast majority take better care of their computers than i have the last few months, but just wanted to send a reminder for anyone that may have been lazy like i have been before they start the beta and overheat their cards.
