Those Twelve symbols represent the "Twelve" Deities that governs Eorzea from the Other Realm.

Think of it as the "Holy Place" for them, it's also mentioned that it'll be utilized for Marriage.

The name was mentioned in one of the 3 New Videos.

As stated the Twelve have symbols, and they aren't quite connected with jobs, though many have a certain tool as a symbol for themselves.

Even tho they are different, some of the actual jobs icon are pretty close to the one there (BLM, MNK, WHM, WAR)

Wonder if Sanctum of the Twelve = church for weddings that Yoshi mentioned some long, long time ago before Alpha even started. He said something along the lines of a mysterious church appearing in the Black Brush if I remember. Can't seem to find that Lodestone post. . . .
