    If the PS4 was is backward compatible we should be able to play ARR on it, but as far as I know it isn't. (Really? why are so many companies so keen on discarding selling points like that and split screen multiplayer?)

    I don't think its that they don't want to support backwards compatibility, it seems to be like it's more of an issue with the hardware being so different that they would need to put a lot of effort into adding support.
