BLUF: Thank you SE for listening to your community.

I've been a fan of Square and Enix, now Square-Enix, for a long time. Probably as long as some if you have been a young teenager. While I've progressed through many levels of Xenogears, Final Fantasy, and Star Ocean, I've come to realize that in no other game have I come across such listening and dedication to the player, you, than I have in the rebuilding of Final Fantasy XIV.

It started as a game which I forced myself to love and stressed myself to delve into, but ended as me forcing myself to accept that it would be months before I could re-enter the world in which SE created and molded into a masterpiece that was ready to burst at the seams. The reason the majority of us stayed was because we couldn't wait to see what SE did next to make the game better.

Yes, the controls and interface were cumbersome and difficult to overcome, but the story is what we've all come to love when dealing with any of their games. Now I may seem like a "fanboy" to many, but so be it. If you are reading this, then you are a "fanboy/girl" yourself.

I look forward to seeing you all in beta and will remember all of you that have shown loyalty and compassion throughout the years in the worlds that SE creates.

FFXIV really made me a fan of Square-Enix again. I hope all of their future projects get taken care of like they have with this title.

That bold text I can relate to, it felt wrong...just wrong. I can't even come up with an example. I'm so happy by the way the game is shaping up to become and welcome off it's success in the future.

P.S. - Not to derail thread but with FF XIV's success wouldn't they try to kidnap Yoshi P and make him work on another project? Like a single player FF game for PS4?! Hope not..

I thought he going to rule the world next O.o lol jk XD btw I lived though the snes ,ps and ps2, final fantasy has come a long way since it started and ffXiv has done alot on its own too to help the game line.
