After reading that article, its all the more reason as to why I don't take reviews of games seriously. The only opinion that should matter is your own on whether or not you like the game or not. I tried GW2 with a few friends for awhile, probably close to a month or more, but even then that alone didn't help keep me from dropping it. To me, GW2 was just too boring and the lack of roles didn't help either since none of the classes felt different to me not to mention other things but I won't get into that.

I went back to 1.0 shortly afterwards since it was able to keep my interest even if it was lacking in some departments at that time. In the end it really comes down to the player themselves in deciding what to play that tickles their fancy.
