New races in next expansion?

In many of the media tour interviews it was said they were going to add a new race in the first expansion.

Since you can do everything on 1 character and its more beneficial to do everything on 1 character because cross class abilities and main story line content that can be linked to endgame content.

Does that mean they will be adding paid race changes or something to let people play this new race or will people just have to make a new character and lose all their work on their current character.

Maybe they will do another remake for the first expansion for those that want the new though I'm sure if people like it enough they will switch without complaint

I support being able to change races, even if it is a paid feature.

No to Viera's being added though.
