If anything this would cause imbalance among the playerbase cause you can bet your undies there'd be people wanting to play a male and female counterparts of those races and would demand it for years till they get it. For reference see Miqo'te and Roegadyn :X

Yoshida, please don't make the same mistake that was made with mithra and galka in XI. Do not add races to the game that are only one sex.

If you aren't comfortable with having bunny boys in your game, then don't add bunny girls. Just don't do it. Add a different race instead.

Viera are popular just for the crazed perverts of the internet. You already have a furry race -- do something unique.

We all know what happened with XI it should be a lesson in not including single sex races, ever. I don't see why a viera male would that hard to conceptualize and if it's too ridiculous then don't do it at all.

I don't like the idea of single-sex races myself.

I am not a big fan of Viera. I hope they do not go out of their way to put them into the game world because of all those weird pervs lol. I would much prefer additional clans of existing races, for example. It would make more sense (to me, at least).
