    Hmmm, I too get the feeling he'd rather avoid the Viera completely, but the damn fangirls (of the western type mostly) want more boobs and ass and are very loud when they cry so. . . . yeah.

    I'd personally prefer to see a race of lizard people added. Similar to the Iksar of EverQuest, which were despised by all other races. In FFXIV's setting the other races might see them as nothing more than a better educated beast tribe.

    Kitty Lalafells might be too cute.

    If bunny people were added by popular demand, they could have the female resemble Hyur more and the male resemble Lalafell or Roegadyn more.
