So, one of the big things that they mentioned in today's Letter Live is the inclusion of Lightning (from Final Fantasy XIII) into XIV somewhere. I think the details are a bit murky, but as a fan of Final Fantasy XIII, I'm a bit excited.

I also wonder if this will start a trend where we could see old friends (and foes) from previous Final Fantasy series making their appearance in XIV. I also wonder if they'll be voice acted (which would notch up the cool factor up a few notches).
