so says the person with a class no higher than 21...IMO, you have no right to complain about content until you have leveled everything, completed every quest, completed every mission and completed all guilds' quests. Nah, personally I don't agree with "level everything to 50 first" approach, but you could at least level one class to 50 before you start talking about lack of content.

I am in no way defending the lack of content and I actually agree there is a lack of content. I also know that they are working on it, since I read the developer posts and the other updates we get, which some of you clearly choose to ignore (not you, just talking in general here). Us crying here like little children that just dropped their candy is not going to help us getting content quicker and is also not helping the community in any way.

There is a huge difference between:

1) There is a lack of content. I hope SE is working on this. Hope they can give us more information soon, since I am already level 50 and I am bored.

or

2) SE sucks. The developers are probably sitting on their hands, drinking coffee with a straw, since well they are sitting on their hands. This game sucks, worst game ever. Tomorrow Pacman 4D will launch and all the players will leave this game for that game. I am already level two and a half and I don't even have a chocobo. Square Enix should give it up already, because I say so while drinking a nice brandy and smoking a big Cuban sigar.

Agree. It is the way the internet works. People sitting behind there computers and playing "internet rambo". Mutual understanding is too much to ask in such cases. At the end we all want the same thing .... We want FFXIV to be a great game that goes on for years with a huge community. We just trying to reach it in different ways and I strongly believe the way some of the people here choose is wrong and not constructive in any way.

I'm one of those blindly loyal fans that buys and plays to death every FF title, but even I'm starting to give up on XIV. It doesn't matter that something is coming. I've had nothing to do but press one button, alone, while staring at Doblyns for close to 6 months now. I'm no longer emotionally invested and am looking at other unreleased MMOs now, which is something I never expected to do when I heard about this game's existence. SE needs to pick up the pace or they're gonna lose the rest of us.

Why did you play a game that did not deserve to be played? You gained nothing out of it, except frustration.

Most of us are waiting in the sidelines and being entertained just by looking at the updates happen. There is no 'deadline' for that, really.

They need to get the combat revamp and other system overhauls complete before they start adding content imo. How can you develop content when the systems in place are going to undergo major changes. The players at the high end are probably going to get bored and might leave but honestly it doesn't matter. They aren't paying a sub fee and the game doesn't have enough of a player base to keep it afloat even if it did. You shelled money for beta access at this point. Right now they should be focusing on getting the systems in place and fixed, then adding content for a Ps3 launch.

I hope/suppose, we will have some news next week. Yoshida-san said that the new patch was delayed around 2 weeks, and If originially 1.17 was coming at beginning of April... 2 weeks later is around next week, or the next one. So hopefully, we will know something else in 3-7 days.

isnt it better if they take down the game and begin to re-develope it rather than small fix and the whine. They already scrap the map to re-make it, so why dont they scrap the char to fix the elezen for example, and scrap the skill to make better animation & stance other than just re-size the old animation ?

sorry to state this but this game wont be survive any how if it is lack lust like this, compare to the coming of modern mmo, this is a trash that only fanboy ll play
