    This shouldn't be a problem. You can make multiple PSN accounts on 1 PS3.

    Yeah he might need to get his own PSN account. When I played the XBOX360 version of FFXI I could only link one XI account to my gamertag and needed a 2nd one to play on an alt account. I think the reason for this was so you couldn't use another persons character for achievements lol.
