    Windows 8 support for FFXIV?

    Seems the latest benchmark doesn't support Windows 8. Does it mean that the initial release will not support Windows 8 either?

    ? windows 8 runs benchmark & "all other versions" without any probliems. so whats the probliem?

    You just need to make sure you have DirectX 9 installed.

    I ran it on windows 8 as well, worked fine, yoshi P also ran the clients hes been displaying on a windows 8 laptop just an fyi

    I hope they also decide to publish the app on W8 platforms such as wp7/8, tablets and such.

    Not everyone has or likes android/ios.
