    It doesn't.
    If i turn down shadow quality to 512 it looks smoother/blurry; but then shadows flicker.

    I think Anti Aliasing, and Shadows are worse...in some games.

    Actually i looked at bench video on media sites, etc...and the grass there looks fine; but on my bench it doesn't.
    I'm using 1900 res, and anti aliasing, and it still looks like lego, so i'm guessing it's the GPU that's crappy at dealing with textures (Radeon HD 5770)
    Gonna upgrade comp next week, so we'll see how it looks then.

    Shadow rendering does indeed vary depending on the GPU.
