No video on Benchmark

why are all the effects turned off whenever i run this benchmark i cant see spells cast or WS's effects its rly annoying.

My biggest advice to people is;
Make sure your directX is up to snuff
Check your graphics drivers
Make sure to 'run as admin' on win 7 if necessary
Also try Vespar's fix of turning off the option for 'improve graphics quality'.
If you're still having issues after that, post your error message (if any) or word of if you're receiving a black screen etc and I'll try to think of some other tweaks you can try.

In the settings there's an option that deals with effects under the 'Effects while in motion' tab, make sure it's switched to own or all

it is always on all or own and still nothing ><

FIXED ALL ISSUES!!! ok somebody helped me fix all my issues i can now have all of the settings on and no black page anymore and my effects have returned!!!
heres what u have to do!

open your ccc, click start button under search type in ccc.exe and pess enter, click the gaming tag then click 3d Application settings the default settings should work just fine, but to reset back to default if something was changed, just click the defaults button on the bottom and apply.

this fixed my issue with improve overall graphics quality turned on and enable depth of field.
this fix works!!!

I have solved my problem. It was Direct X.

I went to http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downl...ils.aspx?id=35 and downloaded the file, installed it, problem solved.

It seems Windows 7 doesn't come with the full DX library installed.
