It looks abysmal; poor frame rate, and I think in some instances I saw screen tearing.

Oh yeah, screen tearing is all over the place. That is definitely not ready for release. Would like a dev comment about that because that is just...hideous and I don't want to see it drive PS3 people away.

I just hope that the extra 25% will be enough to get it up to speed. I don't expect it to run as smoothly as on PC, but that was just painful to watch. A lot of my buds plan on playing on PS3, so I hope it turns out decent enough.

In any case, enough of that. I'll give the dev team the benefit of the doubt. They've more than proven themselves at this point.

The game really does look wonderful. The world just seems so much more alive now, something that was completely absent from 1.0.

Outstanding. The first video I believe is the actual benchmark so thats cool. The tour of eorzea vid is so nice I am so glad it seems like all the things most ppl were worried about have been addressed. Cant wait and looks like they crystal breaking animation is gone as well.
