FFXIV on PS4?

Well, the PS4 uses an x86 processor, standard but "enhanced" (whatever that means) GPU, and has 8GB of shared GDDR5 available, so it'll probably be a great experience on the PS4 and easy to port from the PC version.

All of that is on hold/pushed back untill they get ARR out and if that doesn't go over well...let's just say it'll be something like "Platnium Games Presents: Final Fantasy Versus XIII."

Why Developers Care about the PS4


Seems like it would be a good reason to put ARR on PS4 since it has some many trendy and social options available in one simple console system.

But in all seriousness :P I can't see why it won't be on the PS4. It is fully scalable and the PS4 supports all previous playstations through gaikai.

PS3 is more then just a console though. Its a media center.

My PC makes a much better media center than your PS3/4/5/6/10.

It's pathetic that a machine marketed primarily as a game device seems to be wanted more for the other things it does instead. That should tell us something.
