To SE Comcast is blocking all your emails.

Quick update though on Comcast. Managed to have someone pull the headers and get the mail server IP. And indeed those IPs were blocked and he removed the block. From my email or everyone's I don't know but it isn't like SE is resending as obviously we can retrieved the blocked email after...

That's all I got good luck everyone and when you can switch emails away from Comcast to anything else really lol

Why is comcast having an issue adding SE's domain to their whitelist?

Get a gmail account. Why ever use an ISP's email? If you ever change ISPs/move, etc you LOSE that email address. Get an email that will last. Gmail/outlook.com are two great choices.

Well hopefully SE works it out with Comcast, or at least gets through all the Comcast users tickets before Beta launch so they have more users on the servers to help stress test and find a wider variety of bugs. Honestly, who knows how many Comcast users it affected, we only know of the ones who use the forums and beyond that, the ones that post. So guess we just have to wait and see what happens. Can say I'm done using comcast email and I'll undoubtly switch to gmail so this doesn't happen again that's for sure.

I didn't think anyone used ISP mail providers for important stuff these days. (change your isp and you're screwed)

If there was a ton of phishing mails andd scam then i'm pretty sure that didnt originate from SE so comcast can't have done much investigation. where a mail says it comes from and where it does come from are 2 very different things.

I would hope other comcast users never trust their e-mail with a private client as it tends to abuse their authority over what e-mails they think you should get. In the past, people had protested comcast for a number of reasons, maybe I can look for that news and share it later.

I called Comcast they told me that basically SE had to fill out this form to get their email address unblocked from their system. Pretty much anyone who has a Comcast email won't get the beta invite because they thought that address was spamming people.

Funny, I got my Alpha and CB 1 invites just fine and have Comcast. Are you using their .net email account they give you? Yeah if your using Comcast's email, FFS man, get another email account. They are ALL free lol!
