I got the same email response :\. I'm starting to worry a bit. This is becoming a bad joke. After submitting a service request as detailed in the original Rep post in this thread, I received an e-mail stating that they could not help me by e-mail and I needed to call. I called, talked to a rep, he told me it would take a few weeks to fix the problem.
Later, the Rep post in this thread was updated with new instructions for submitting a service request, which I did on the same day it was posted. I just now received an e-mail from SE Customer Support telling me that they can not assist me by e-mail and I need to call them.........again.
I've lost my patience with SE Customer Support. Between this and them locking and refusing to unlock my son's account last year I can't deal with them anymore. If I get in then I'll try it out. If not, I'll play Eve and see if I still have any interest when this game releases.
I received an email saying that I had to wait 48 hours (business days) before I get a reply that was on saturday, hope I hear something by today :/
sadly i'm in the same boat as Elirion. I've had two tickets opened and called twice only to be told to fill out another ticket. Oh yeah and the email says use chat support when one is not available. this is getting very frustration.
I've gotten that e-mail twice so far. Not to be a downer but you're probably going to get this:
"Unfortunately the SQUARE ENIX Support Center cannot assist with this issue via email. In order to further assist you, we will need you to contact us via phone or chat, and the SQUARE ENIX Support Center will be happy to assist you."
I don't know if this is related to the problem that everyone has or not, I have a legacy account and did not get a code >.<. I never actually applied for one since I thought I should get it automatically with my legacy account.
I tried to log in to the Beta forums but I got a message saying that I cant log in since my account was canceled >.<
I was a bit shocked!
I have two accounts Final Fantasy xiv 1 which was canceled long time ago
and final fantasy xiv 2 which is still active and has legacy account.
I have two questions to everyone
Do you still need to apply for a beta tester even if you are a legacy account holder?
also, when I got the message saying that my account was canceled, did anyone experience this problem
I believe currently there are two issues that they are still working on handling. One being that some people haven't received their beta code, despite having a Legacy status. And the other issue is that some people bound their beta code to the wrong (out-dated) service on their account.I don't know if this is related to the problem that everyone has or not, I have a legacy account and did not get a code >.<. I never actually applied for one since I thought I should get it automatically with my legacy account.

In your case, you should have received an email with your beta code. If not you'll need to ask for support and ticket that issue. Once you get that code, be sure to bind it to the correct service. Which would be your Legacy status.
OK, not sure why someone from SE could not post this, but if you have a comcast e-mail address registered for your account then change it to a non comcast e-mail address or you will not get the beta invite. Apparently the beta invites are coming from a company that comcast considers spam ie they probably get paid to send out spam and SE hired them for this job. You'll probably also have to submit a ticket, get a response that they can only help by phone, call them, and ask for the beta invite to be sent to the new e-mail address. Hopefully that will fix the issue.
Yea this is getting really annoying, begining of last week I put in a ticket to only be told that I had to call or via chat, I went ahead and called them (I had a comcast email bound to my account which I changted to a gmail.) I gave them my gmail account over the phone 3 times! he had me repeat the email address, waited a few days nothing. . .Then on friday of last week I put in a new ticket and saturday received a reply saying to wait 48 hours ugh!! Whats bad is that not only am I a legacy member, but I was in alpha and I heard all alpha players where invited. . . .so I missed the invite twice :P
Submitted the "Beta Code Registration Issue" form > Got my ticket > Got email saying to fill out a "Beta Code Registration Issue" form.
Really?
