    and to think all of this headache could have been easily avoided had SE allowed you to choose which account to register the code in at the SAME time you were submitting it instead of automatically dropping it in to the inactive services.

    I don't feel bad for SE being overwhelmed right now as this is their fault in my opinion and it shows again how they should have fixed this correctly the first time around when people had registration issues due to a hiccup in their system with codes from the very first beta a couple years back.

    Just really irritated with them right now and their run around email responses.

    No response from SE yet, tsk tsk. At least our newest ticket is still open. Maybe that is progress over the previous three tickets that were 'escalated' but really closed.

    I sent one last e-mail out of frustration and got a response in about 10 minutes resolving my issue. It was painful but I learned one important lesson. You have to be a bit persistent to get them to fix this. Good luck to everyone still having a problem with this.

    Not sure what you talking about but it allow you to pick which service to put the code on to. The issue is people just click click click enter they did not care to read.

    Nope, it didn't give me or my wife the option to choose which account, we checked it both times. But after contacting their billing via chat they finally sent a new code and it still didn't give an option to choose which service, but it's ok since it automatically was added to the correct active service.
