Thanks for the support Bay... Wow you've been helping everyone all day, nice job! ^^Greetings,
I wanted to post and let you all know that we are aware of the issue you described (attaching your code to the incorrect service account).
We are currently in the process of creating a flow to help users that are affected by this and will post details on what to do once it has been finalized. We greatly appreciate your patience while we work to get this resolved.
In the meantime, please note that if you registered the code to an old, currently inactive, service account you simply need to re-activate it on the Square Enix account management site to be able to access the Beta Tester forums and upcoming Beta Test.

Thank you very much! This is most welcome.
Thank you Bayohne for taking the time to reply and for your assistance!
You were much more help than the chat service that abruptly booted me from the conversation on the SE support site.

So I did what Bayohne and put in a ticket on wed. received a reply saying to call them did that yesterday and confirmed all my information and still have not heard anything, then I saw this so I put in another ticket today so I hope I hear back from them. >_<I believe some users were instructed to call before we had the finalized flow that I wrote about earlier in the thread and that is the source of the run around (Call! Now email!).
Legacy users that did not receive their Beta Test invite should follow the instructions I posted earlier.
Each ticket is being handled in the order in which it was received and the teams are working hard to get everyone sorted out as soon as possible.
We truly appreciate your patience in this situation as we work to make it right.
Greetings,
We have finalized the flow and are prepared to assist users that accidentally registered their Beta Test code to the incorrect service account. Please follow the steps below and the Support Center will assist you in the order in which your ticket was received. However, keep in mind that even if the code was registered to the incorrect service account, you will still be able to participate in the Beta Test.
First, visit the FFXIV: ARR Support Center Site.
Then fill out the fields using the following information:Click "Next" to proceed to "Email Support". In the Detailed Condition field, simply provide the following:
- Contact Category: Product & Services
- Contact Sub Category: Beta Test
- Contact Details: Registered Beta Code to the Wrong Service Account
- Registered Email Address (if different than what was entered in Contact Email Address field)
- Registered Date of Birth on Square Enix Account
Our agents will then review your ticket and Square Enix account information to confirm that the key was registered to the incorrect account and reply with instructions on how to register it to the correct one.

don't have Comcast mail, but use Comcast. Should be in the spam folder and best thing to have done is set a wild card for square enix emails as priority. Hope others with issues find the email.
This is fantastic news! but if I reactivate my old service account, will I be unable to import my FFXIV char from 1.0 to 2.0, since my char is tied to a different service account?
I have a friend who is unable to post here due to his account being inactive toward the end of 1.0 and is having some issues, so I'm posting this on their behalf.
He has legacy, never received an email and went through Bayohne's steps to get the key. Their response is that he did not attain legacy status and was not eligible for a key, despite there clearly being a legacy mark in his services list as well as in-game while his account was active. He replied back with a screenshot of his services page showing the logo and has yet to get a response after 2 days.
Is there anything else he can do, or is he just SOL until phase 3?
