I wanted to post and let you all know that we are aware of the issue you described (attaching your code to the incorrect service account).

We are currently in the process of creating a flow to help users that are affected by this and will post details on what to do once it has been finalized. We greatly appreciate your patience while we work to get this resolved.

In the meantime, please note that if you registered the code to an old, currently inactive, service account you simply need to re-activate it on the Square Enix account management site to be able to access the Beta Tester forums and upcoming Beta Test.
