Did not get in beta despite having Legacy

I'm having the same problem as a few others:

I (for some reason I've never been able to figure out) have two FFXIV accounts.
One which is active that is my legacy account,
and one that is inactive that was formed when I first played the original beta.

The new beta code was automatically applied to the one that is closed, not my legacy account.

Also, I'm having real trouble logging into the beta forums...are they not up yet?

I think there was a solution to the problem you are having with it going to the old FFXIV on ur account. I forget what thread it was in tho.
