Good to hear. See I had faith that SE would take care of us quickly. TY Bayo and SE Team.Made a 2nd ticket, with the info that was requested. Guess I did get in that mix up where they wanted me to call them ect.

I received my Beta registration code for Legacy, but when I register it, it allowed me to attached it to a cancelled service account. I have 2 service accounts for FFXIV in my Square-Enix account, one of which is cancelled and not of Legacy status whereas my second account is active and has Legacy status. The way the email was set up, in regards to showing 8 possible codes, I thought it was saying to attach it to service account #1, which is not my Legacy account. Is there some way it can be transferred to the proper service account, or for me to be given a second code so I can correct this mistake?

if someone from SE could help out Eon that would be great. The fact that the SE account system lets you register a code for a FFXIV service account that's not active is really bad and should be changed so others don't run into this problem in the future.I received my Beta registration code for Legacy, but when I register it, it allowed me to attached it to a cancelled service account. They are most likely aware of it since there were topics about such a mistake on the first day the beta was announced. Its funny but the reps really are always watching. They will probably get to it later since it really only effects players at beta phase 3 and 4, when your 1.0 will be transferred. Right now I think their main concern is giving all legacy members their codes before monday, since that date is set in stone and they promised all legacy will get immediate access.

I wanted to post and let you all know that we are aware of the issue you described (attaching your code to the incorrect service account).
We are currently in the process of creating a flow to help users that are affected by this and will post details on what to do once it has been finalized. We greatly appreciate your patience while we work to get this resolved.
In the meantime, please note that if you registered the code to an old, currently inactive, service account you simply need to re-activate it on the Square Enix account management site to be able to access the Beta Tester forums and upcoming Beta Test.

Bay, thank you so much! This is great news!!
I'll let my rl friend know what you said. He was worried that he might never get access to his legacy character, or that he might not get to play at all.

Thanks for the support Bay... Wow you've been helping everyone all day, nice job! ^^Greetings,

Thank you very much! This is most welcome.
This is fantastic news! but if I reactivate my old service account, will I be unable to import my FFXIV char from 1.0 to 2.0, since my char is tied to a different service account?
