Beta Key Registration Error

I got this issue...except I didn't assign it to any account..in the email from SE it said that it was for account 1 which has been inactive since beta 1.0. instead of my legacy account. ):

I think that just means that you can only assign it to 1 account, because that's what mine said but when you register it lets you choose.
