Getting bored of killing zoo animals...

Everywhere you go there are squirrels, squirrels, squirrels , squirrels
I can’t stand them to be honest, I see no good reason why we have to fight them.
There are millions of animals on earth and having the means to think up new life forms, why did SE pick squirrels? Fitlhy, aggressive looking mutated rats with sharp teeth… ok but cute squirrels? (and they throw nuts at me? what)

And then there are Boars, scorpions, geckoes with wings (creative), antelopes, wolfs, sheep, toads, ants, spiders, deepsee fish, snakeheads with legs, hyenas,

They all have some fantasy twist to their designs but I am getting really bored fighting zoo animals.
I love the goblins and some of the larger mobs, the skeletons, big eyes, flan and the beastmen.

This is no immediate demand! I am fully aware of all the other important issues and I am sure that SE will add many more mobs anyway.
I really hope and wish to see more humanoid enemies (not talking about mobs using the same character models as we do) something like Gigas in FFXI, some humanoid demons, steampunk robots, dangerous looking creatures and so on...

I would love to fight bad ass mobs, I would love to see impressive and creative concepts!
    This is a fantasy game!

I want to visit your zoo, we don't have giant spiky toads and man sized ants at mine : (

Plenty of goblins roaming around Coerthas and raptors and giant piestes and other nasties but no one is ever in that zone when I am there.

The OP doesn't know what he's talking about is all. What they were probably referring to was the lack of humanoids. There's the occasional bandit/poacher here and there, and a few goblins, but not enough wandering convenient areas. He wants giants, orcs, and (for whatever messed up reason) robots.

I wonder, how many FF games have you played, OP? Most of FF creatures are a take on "zoo animals", especially in the Amano era.

Look at even FFXI since its their other FF MMO, there's generally a scale of when we fight "bad ass monsters" and we're not exactly to that end yet.

Those flying things from the intro are in the dats and have a full range of attacks etc, so yeah, we'll be fighting them soon (Magiteks?)

    Fable 3 that way >>

I think your over exaggerating the squirrels a bit. I'm kimda wondering if ppl really know the steampunk theme/fashion. Steampunk is an odd setting mixing depression era industral where most of the fasion at least are industral lower class work cloths. Most of the tech in steampunk is basic geared clockwork made mostly of bronze/copper tones. Personally that stuff don't really fit with the pirate esk theme/exploration theme.

But a bit more variety of mobs could be nice. Not giga though. I hated targeting giga and dhamel in ffxi. It was very skrewing and awkward.
Like i said steampunk is in fable 3 and its a bit outa place imo. I would love to see a steam punk themed mmo though. As i like steampunk
