thats why this next month is so crusial because 6 months have been "wasted" to the outside observer. The big changes to the battle system are going to be on patches 1.17 (+ 1.17a) and 1.18

This next set of patches feels like a game changer to me, anyone else feel like these are the most important patches to date?

The combat revamp, class balancing and other things that are coming down the pipe are very pivotal. if done correctly it could be a watershed moment in turning this game around. if done incorrectly it could very well be the final nail in its coffin. I'm starting to get worried about the fate of XIV. Part of me feels kind of like it should die already and just become a F2P MMO, and part of me really wants to see it recover. lol
