    Since all FFXIV accounts and 1.0 characters can be used in Beta P3/P4 and they're doing their "import testing" and servers are open in Japan and overseas (P3), these might be the times when you pick a different server. Since the data carries over (P4), what you pick then may be where you stay. Unless you get imported with no choice.

    This is assuming they aren't forced to delete anything. In Tera's betas, the server you chose in the last beta (where the data carried over) is the one you stayed on. However, the game was entirely fresh.
