I had my finger hover over the mute button ever since her first exclamation (<3 my keyboard). As someone said in the twitch comments: "RIP headphone users" ^_^

"Interviews" in Japan are heavily rehearsed and planned, and "acting" super-kawaii-excited-over-the-top is part of the act.

Just listen to most gaming "interviews" that come japan... I mean, I love their games, their culture and art style, and it cracks me up whenever I hear stuff like this:

Programmer: So with the controller, you move the character around.
Reporter: OH? Really? The character moves?
Programmer: Yes, based on what you do. See? Like this.
Reporter: Woah! That is SO COOL. "Whooa! Kakkoii!"
Programmer: Yes, it's cool, isn't it? hai hai, Kakkoii desune..?
Repoter: Yes, it's cool! hai, Kakkoii desu!

You can pretty much repeat the last 2 lines advitam eternam, too..

To her left (our right) is Leen Icarian, a character I wish I could make, and a total homage to this Leen.

I'm personally left wondering if it's only the midlander ladies or if the highlander gals would ride side as well... their personalities seem like they might ride astride as a show of toughness.

Well I do admit they're acting over the top in many cases, but there are different levels of that as well. I'm pretty much used to the way it's seen polite to show interest in something someone is showing you in Japan, but I did think she overreacted. For example, take Housing-ojisan, he showed interest as well, but he didn't kill headphone user by the dozens :P
