Simply question about "Beta phase 1"

Yoshi-p said that in todays letter, but I was wondering one specific thing - Does this mean its limited to Gridania jobs again?

Not the hugest deal, but it is something that came to my mind, personally, when reading it. I'm excited as all heck and semi-impatient, but I am ok to wait more. But, that said I was wondering about this.

I would say probably not. Beta for 1.0 was not limited to LL jobs, while I believe alpha was.

Main scenario (partial) / Sidequests / Class quests / Full Active Time Events
Hunting Log / New behest / Dungeons (up to level 35)
Opening event (excluding CG movie) / Cutscenes / Player Search
Markets / Item Search (text strings, HQ, materia, etc.) / Other

It should be all jobs.

Probably not including Arcanist though, right? I think Arcanist should be available for testing. Since it's a new class, it'll probably need to be tested too. Might as well put it in the beta.

Difference: they didn't lock you out if you started in a city without the right guild. You can buy the weapons for everything in every city, it wasn't until later did they change what the NPCs sold.

Technically, that can be tested internally since we're not going to be testing every class/job addition they add if ARR goes on long enough.

Well, it seems that way that it will just be CNJ, LNC and ARC at the start for phase 1 again, but really, it's only for a few weeks - the other cities and classes will be available in the later phases so don't worry (plus, we'll have our 1.0 characters in phase 3 which is only a month or two away too ).
