It was just people freaking out over something that was still IN DEVELOPMENT!

It was just people freaking out over something that was still IN DEVELOPMENT!
People were freaking out because it was stated by SE they've toned graphics down in order to make playability better, which means when people were freaking out they were rightfully so because to those who ran 1.0 past SNES mode immediately seen a difference even from the 1.0 alpha graphical style.

It was still an overreaction to something they also stated was incomplete. I do recall them commenting about this video being older footage, they still hadn't added in textures or shadows. But that didn't and still doesn't stop people from hearing what they want to hear and then making a mountain out of a mole hill. GRASS! lolPeople were freaking out because it was stated by SE they've toned graphics down in order to make playability better, which means when people were freaking out they were rightfully so because to those who ran 1.0 past SNES mode immediately seen a difference even from the 1.0 alpha graphical style.
EDIT: Looks like we have some people suffering from Beta Fever in here. This PSA is just the thing for you!

To be fair, they might not have been "freaking out" though, they might just have seen something and then expressed a concern about what they saw. Which is probably more productive and constructive than sitting on their hands and just doing nothing and hoping for the best.

No, people are just freaking out. Plain and simple. To be fair, they might not have been "freaking out" though, they might just have seen something and then expressed a concern about what they saw. Which is probably more productive and constructive than sitting on their hands and just doing nothing and hoping for the best.
Pretty sure freaking out means something different than people simply commenting on stuff they observe. Besides, most people were dealt a lesson on giving SE the benefit of the doubt with version 1.0, so they prefer to be pessimistic, given the track record.

No, freaking out means just that. They freak out about nothing.
If you have to be pessimistic about this game, you should just leave. If it has come to the point where you have to see the glass as half empty, then you've already established the game as bad in your mind.
Also, when literally everything shown to us causes waves of tears, it's no longer about "concern," it's just plain crying. Not everything can be that upsetting.
Yeah when they say " Subject to change" or " In-Development" You would think people would understand that it will most likely "change". Sadly it's " what they see first is what they think the game is going to be like."No, freaking out means just that. They freak out about nothing.
