Bait and switch

I have been robbed at gun point. I have also had my car and home broken into. So yes I know what it's like to be robbed. By the time I had contacted support, the option to pay for multi month subs had been removed and yet when i contacted them this was there reply:

Regarding your request for account support. Please find your answer below.

Users with service accounts that have paid for at least 90 cumulative days of subscriptions between January 6, 2012 and the start of version 2.0 beta testing are eligible. Square Enix will automatically notify you if you are eligible and you may also confirm your eligibility by using the Square Enix Account Management System.

Currently there is no official date as to when version 2.0 beta testing will begin.

It's too bad that you didn't manage to get legacy, but if that reply from support is what made you think you had enough time then it isn't a bait and switch. Nowhere in that does it say that YOU are guaranteed legacy. It says that those who subscribed in time will.
