Yes, "Ihre Haustiere sind süß!" is right, but very formal ^^ You would say that to a person you don't know. If you wanna say that to a friend/classmate/whatever you would say "Deine Haustiere..."

In school, French was mandatory but I really enjoy learning them so in my spare time I learned German, Japanese and Italian; not to a fluent level but I could get by if I needed them, I travelled a LOT so it came in really handy ^^. Thank you for the tip! Sometimes it's hard to understand between the formal words and the gender on words confuses me a bit too haha, since english really has no gender-specific grammar rules it's a challenge to remember sometimes^^

My dog is very clingy too haha >< He was abused by his previous owners so gets a bit of separation anxiety, but he's getting better slowly^^

I have taught my dog to wake my husband up if he sleeps in too long xD I say "Go get him!" and he runs upstairs, jumps on the bed and licks his face til he finally gets up lol

Just open the door to the staircase and say "Where's Mom?" or "Where's Alex?" and he will up there like mad just to wake them up xD He doesn't jump on the bed though (Just my sister lets him on it).
