dogs are companions. they're social creatures and were a vital part in shaping man's transition into an agricultural society. dogs serve quite a number of important practical functions to humans.

meanwhile... outside of mousers, cats are mostly 'accessory' pets- as they don't serve any practical purpose. cats are tens of thousands of years behind dogs in domestication, and it really shows.

your preference is your preference, and i'm not at all surprised that people who spend a lot of time playing MMOs might prefer cats- but the "dogs are stupid and smelly" angle is just so played out.

p.s. no matter how clean you think it is- most people who don't own cats can smell your cat when they walk into your house. juuuuuuust saying.

I think cleaning up after a cat makes ANYONE heave. Those white medical Masks are wonderful for that. Not 100% helpful since the smell is only part of the reason, but still.
