Aaaand here's something from my fireplay days - messing around with my shortest staff 'Toasty' (Yes, they all get names! XD)


Burning the shirt at the end of the night: It had gotten a couple scorch marks anyhow, so now it was time for it to go *poof*!


Edit: I'm also not afraid to look like a complete muppet with lollipops. They taste better when you eat them this way!

The way I learned to play with fire is even on day 1: use fire! You learn not to hit yourself very fast haha, but if you do there's hardly any injury because the staff moves so much. You'll end up with a cute little black scorch mark til you wash it off and a little singed arm hair is all xD

Oh gosh! I love the blue ones haha, even now at nearly 27 years old I will walk around with my husband in public and eat those and be like "T WHAT COLOR IS MAI TONGUE NAO?!" /sticktongueout

Oh nooo! I'm sorry to hear about your accident ; ; That really sucks!

There are some performance toys (as I call them) that are flame free!, they have fabric streamers on their tips instead or even light up ones for night time with color changing LEDs. They're very fun to try if you're ever curious about it^^
