well as we see it we will has 4 months out of the game and this is a big risk to any MMO on this days... im Ben staking on loadstone website since ending of the alpha and they still pulling away the date of the beta....

i was thinking operations was goin to stop for 1-2 months top but 4 months and still not even a date of release

Oh my, take a deep breath, go outside, play other games in the lull...something. They are literally on their Media tour RIGHT now. They wouldn't be doing a Media Tour if they weren't ready to start advertising. If they are ready to start advertising, ARR's release is still on track....and no, this long break won't keep people from returning. We're all chopping at the bit to play again as well...we'll all be back, even if like Amanda said, we'd have to wait until Christmas, even though, they are more or less on schedule and we WON'T need to wait that long.

It's barely been a little over a month and a half for me since I last played 1.0 (I went back to the game after the servers were reactivated and played til the second, final, server shutdown on New Year's Eve ) and I'm taking it pretty well.

The Beta hasn't started yet because Yoshi-P and his team are waiting to complete the Media Tour first. Give them time, for as the old saying goes "good things come to those who wait."

I guess it depends on how you look at it. Elder Scrolls Online is listed as "mid- to late- 2013" iirc. A lot of people will get sucked into that and won't come to XIV if they're already hooked on another game.

Haha, I wouldn't go that far, but still, that series is definitely overrated.

Morrowind/Oblivion/Skyrim all bored me to tears, and if I hear one more stupid 'arrow to the knee' meme.... ><.
