Could you explain a little about how gear will be classified? Based on rarity such as a color index type system - (Purple, Blue, Green etc..) and how will these items drop from endgame bosses - (how many rares drop per boss, drop %, do tokens drop?)

I have a question...
Will we be able to find a "Great Katana" being guarded by a HNM somewhere in some random location. Kill the HNM > Receive the G.Katana > Unlock a new "Class", while flagging a new quest line in the process, this would eventually lead to us unlocking the Samurai Job?
Will future Classes also go along this way, in some shape or form? To make adventuring, exploring and finding hidden quest lines, a little more interesting?

"You cannot simultaneously prevent and prepare for war."

what is the possibility of having Final Fantasy online standards?
i.e HQ items have bolded borders/+1 to show its HQ instead of the funky color scheme, 1 character = multiple jobs(satisfy solo and group play), more than 5 spells or abilities to choose from or use, moogle housing, linkshells(not guilds), HNM, rare/ex items, no repairs, macros, item/inventory/gobbie bags/mog safe/storage/mog locker, crafting as the one of the major source of revenue in addition to gil drops from quest and HNM and missions, jobs or classes not both and exp grind parties/quest grind parties.

BUSINESS TALK HERE:
Okay, I have read about 25 pages and not one question seemed to go in that direction, so i'll skip reading the 44 pages cause my eyes are blurry now. and ask it.
How will ARR do against such competition as TESO that already have over a million likes on facebook compare to ARR which is about 70 000? I am REALLY worried about ARR being missed out/unseen/fail because of it's unpopularity compared to other upcoming games. I want ARR to be the 2013 best MMORPG and stay as such for a couple of years, but I'm afraid that "franchise loyalty" such as all the fans of elder scroll that will just faithfully wait for the game they have been waiting for the last years and thoses WoW fans that wait for the new expansion would just pass on, ignore, ARR entirely.
Recap would be:
What will the beta itself bring to help ARR be known as the next BEST MMORPG of the year?
Yoshi-P, in your own belief , do all the stress lived amongst your comrades and yourself, all the hard work that the team has accomplished, and all the content that anyone can find on internet such as beta content/beta gameplay videos/and live letters be enough, to get over a million sales and be the most played game in it's genre for 5 consecutive years? Because that's the potential and power of ARR's competition my dear friend, and I send you my courage, and bravery to try and outsell them!
If you and your crew ever come to Montreal, Quebec (since the gaming community here is VERY competitive and Active and it would be a very wise decision to do so) I'm willing to treat you, Foxclon and Yoichi Wada at the best japanese fast food isakaya in my city, yes quality fast food exists!! with plenty of sake for your hard work and for victory for passing through all this and not quitting mid-way. I would treat the whole dev team but hehe too expansive :P
I should really be more serious about that career in game dev
So, what's your answer on all this?

lets try this again 3rd time i hope it gets to you.
I am a controller player. i have not seen controller support yet for this new game. I hope you are putting good support for it in the PC version. Not all us FF players are PC gamers even if we have PCs lol.

Is it possible to place a cutscene outside the instance (or at the instance entrypoint) so that players can view the cutscene an indefinite amount of time before actually entering the battle? Wings of the Goddess did this really well.

Question:
Will our characters "Speak"? Not like voiced or anything, but will they talk to NPCs.
